About the Owner
I'm 31 years old and I'm a serious collector! I've been playing and collecting Pokémon since it's first release back in 1996 playing an imported copy of Pokémon Green. My first official item was when I was only 7 and got the blue and yellow Gameboy Color with Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Togepi. It came in a box set with Pokemon Yellow. I also received Red and Blue at the same time, who knew it would bring me to where I am today. The next thing I remember was being adamant about having all the different Hasbro Tomy Figures that were all the craze back then. They were the ones that came with two halves of a clear master ball with two figures and some battle discs. Some came in 3 packs with the little GameBoy ball blaster thing. I remember playing with those figures all the time as opposed to Barbies or dollhouses like my other friends at the time.
After moving to Germany, the only link to Pokemon merchandise was the local Shoppette on Ramstein Air Force Base, and their selection was little to none. I was in Germany for the Releases of Gold and Silver and Ruby and Sapphire, and wasn't able to collect as freely during this period. I was able to get a few sets of the Hasbro releases of Hoenn Pokémon during my trips back to the States. I also collected a few of the Neo cards, most of which were in German. I loved playing with those toys as well and still have them as a collection.
After I moved back to the States from Germany, I began just randomly collecting off eBay and Amazon as I eventually got old enough for my own money and set up my own PayPal account. I did this for a while and had no idea about bootlegs until I made a friend in college who knew all about how eBay worked and how to identify the bootlegged items. She made trips to Nintendo World every so often and enlightened me on how to come about the legit merchandise. She often helped me shop online to ensure that I wasn't getting ripped off with a fake.
After I became informed about all the bootlegs I eventually learned how to join pkmncollectors. Back then though, anyone could just click "join community" and you were in, and that was a long time ago. Shortly after joining I started buying everything I could and have been collecting ever since. I've now since learned to purchase things myself first hand from Japan and even Taiwan and China. Ever since, my collections have grown!
As for Zelda, the collecting began after my first immersion into the series with the Midnight Release of the Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. After playing through and beating that game, I decided to begin chasing down other complete copies of the different games and began collecting Legend of Zelda Merchandise. I now own at least one complete version or copy of each game with hopes to continue expanding my collection to other complete versions of games I already own. I plan to keep collecting long into my adult years. Please take a look at what my hard work has accomplished with hunting these items down!
Thanks for reading! Please take a look at what I have and enjoy my site!
